“The Amazing Adventures of Jafir” is the work of Charles T. O’Neill, a healthcare
executive and entrepreneur who grew up in Fairport, New York. O’Neill and his
wife, Karen, raised a family of five adopted children in Tampa, Florida. Jafir’s
adventure is the tale O’Neill wove during bedtime stories with his children; three
of whom were adopted from Ethiopia.
“The Amazing Adventures of Jafir Volume 1 The Journey to The Sea” was first
published in 2011 by Ennis House Publishing, a small boutique book publisher
founded by Charles O’Neill in Tampa, Florida. Ennis House published Volume 2 of
the series in 2018 and Volume 3 in 2023.
O’Neill is in the process of completing Volumes 4 and 5 of the Jafir series.
